4 Hands Brewing Presents: Slipping Into Darkness Festival

4 Hands Brewing Company's annual stout celebration, Slipping Into Darkness, is set for this Saturday, March 2, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the LaSalle Park venue. This ticketed event offers a diverse selection of over 25 stouts, including variants like Madagascar and Chocolate Milk Stout, alongside enticing dark and roasty brews from guest breweries across Columbia, Kansas City, and St. Louis. Local DJs will set the mood with tunes throughout the afternoon, while the festival's highlight will be a live performance by Master Blaster: A Tribute to Stevie Wonder featuring Steve Ewing. Tickets are priced at $60 and include a stainless pint glass and a special Slipping Into Darkness gift, available for purchase at Universe.com.

In addition to the festival, 4 Hands has introduced two new additions to the City Wide family: City Wide Light and City Wide Hoppy Pale, the latter being a non-alcoholic option. Both beers are available in four-packs of 16 oz cans at the 4 Hands Brewery & Tasting Room and 4 Hands at The District. City Wide Light, an American lager, offers crispness and refreshment, paying homage to St. Louis's brewing heritage. On the other hand, City Wide Hoppy Pale showcases Centennial, Citra, and Simcoe hops, providing a burst of citrus, melon, and tropical fruit aromas with a dry, crisp finish.
