Meet Rudy’s Flower Truck
Who’s Rudy?
She’s the 60s-era Willy’s Jeep pickup getting second looks all over town, brought to life by Brittany Sarhage on a near-whim back in 2017. Since then, Brittany’s mobile business has bloomed into something uniquely beautiful, just like the flowers she totes around town. She’s no florist, and she’ll be the first to tell you that. For her, it’s about freedom of movement; for herself and for her customers, allowing them to build something beautiful on their terms, in their own neighborhoods. Each time she weaves Rudy through the streets, she’s modernizing the flower-buying experience, making it accessible and fun in a way that challenges the very idea of floral design.
She’s also become a welcome wagon of sorts for St. Louis, parking her pickup in different areas to introduce customers to pockets of the city they’ve never ventured, hoping people appreciate the beauty surrounding the truck as much as the beauty found within it. Details matter here: flowers are sourced locally, and she collaborates with artisans around St. Louis to provide a curated experience that feels relaxed and open. Visit Rudy, and you’ll notice the little things; the small wonders, the curves and colors that take shape in your hands, the magic in creating something beautiful for someone else, or for yourself.
Who’s Brittany?
She’s the woman with the truck full of flowers who wants you to take it all in, and be delighted.
